Baby massage classes
On Friday Teddy and I went to a baby massage class in Maidstone. This was the first of 5 classes in the course, and we had a great time. We met other mamas and babies which was nice as it meant we could exchange advice and concerns we have, without being judged. Once everyone had arrived, we took it in turns to introduce ourselves and baby. After we had gone around the room, the instructor explained a little about baby massage and the benefits it provides. Before we started she told us the sessions are going to be baby led, meaning if Teddy wanted to sleep he could, if he was hungry I could feed him and if he needed changing, I could change him. Because it's baby led, we enjoyed this as it meant we weren't pressured into taking part of Teddy wasn't feeling it. The focus for this session was on the legs and feet.
