What's in our nappy bag?

I think a nappy bag is a personal thing. Choosing a bag that you want to take with you every time you leave the house is personal. What you pack in your bag is personal so I wanted to share what we had in our nappy bag.

I didn't get the bag that came with my buggy as I didn't like the way it looked. Because of this I ordered a Babymoov bag. I wanted a bag big enough to carry everything I needed, but still stylish and not have a 'nappy bag' look. I am going to do a review of the bag soon, so I won't be going into too much detail about it now.

This bag comes with a changing mat, bottle/food insulator and a dummy pouch. I only use the changing mat, but I like that it comes with the extras as it gives me the option to use them if I wanted. On the outside of the bag there is a zip pocket, bottle holder and 2 sections- one at the front of the bag and one at the back. In the pocket I keep his dummies. This gives me quick and easy access, should I need to get a dummy quickly. In the back section I keep the changing mat and in the front section I keep tissues and antibacterial wipes. These are in easy access and I'm able to grab them quickly.

The main bit of the bag has a compartment with a zip. I keep the across the body strap in there. It also has another 2 compartments and a clear zip bag. In one of these compartments I keep the clear zip bag, which contains antibacterial wipes to clean the changing mat, nappy rash cream and baby salve. In the other compartment I keep nappy sacks.

In the middle I have a spare pair of clothes, just in case we need to change. I also keep infacol in the bag as I sometimes can't always burp Teddy, and this stuff helps! There is also a dribble bib or muslin cloth to keep Teddy clean as he likes to move his head a lot when feeding.

I can't forget the main parts of the nappy bag... the nappies and wipes! I always make sure the nappies are topped up before we leave and that we have enough wipes with us. I will be reviewing the nappies soon and the wipes, although I am currently trying out a different brand of wipes. I want to make sure Teddy's skin doesn't react to them first- he can't use pampers as it causes a rash, so once we've tested them out there will be a review.
